Carbon Footprint savings are an abstract idea that are almost impossible to visualize in terms of size and scale.
Ask anyone to estimate 1kg of flour or common vegetables, they will have a rough idea from years of experience. However ask the same person to visualise 1kg of CO2e and imaginations run wild from a lack of interaction or grasp of whats being asked, with common estimates varying from a children’s party balloon to a hot air balloon carrying tourists over a city (you see the problem here...!)
