It’s a pathway to treat our clothes differently & embrace a better way of caring for them that not only prolongs their lifecycle but also keeps them looking and feeling new for longer.
Our story
The Start
The philosophy of clothing care isn’t something new. For generations, people have known how to take care of their clothes, how to make them last & how to preserve their value. But over time, this tradition faded, replaced by fast fashion & a throwaway culture.
As a part of the fashion industry, we saw this shift firsthand and decided to bring that wisdom back & to push it forward with BIORESTORE’s innovative Laundry Re-Tergent™ Treatments. That’s when in 2020 our founders Wajahat and Richard fired themselves from the Fashion & Textile industry & started BIORESTORE.
Today
Since our beginning in 2020, BIORESTORE has been dedicated to changing the perception of how we care for our clothing. In a short span, we’ve expanded our product line to include five innovative laundry treatments, each designed to restore & prolong the life of your clothing.
Through our efforts to date (01.03.2024), BIORESTORE has restored more than 57,142* clothing items, contributing to a potential saving reduction of approximately 351,400kg* in CO2e emissions. This achievement was recognised in 2022 by the H&M Foundation, with the presentation of the prestigious Global Change Award identifying the innovative & sustainable approach BIORESTORe has to clothing & fashion, with the potential for global impact & sustainable change.

Our goal is to embrace sustainable fashion & garment care by enabling people to restore & revive what they already have in their wardrobes rather than adding brand-new pieces to their shopping baskets & overflowing wardrobes.

After many years in the fashion & textile industry, we understood the urgent need for a better way to care for our clothes & our planet.
Driven to make a real impact with this global challenge we fired ourselves from the fashion & textile industry, in order to redefine the way we care for & treat our clothes, aiming to solve the lifestyle to waste-pile lifecycle 1 wardrobe at a time.
